About Us
Founded in 2024, Byte Force Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established by parents of students in Byte Force, a rookie FIRST Robotics team from Wake County, NC. The Byte Force robotics team formed in August 2024 with a group of passionate students, mentors, and enthusiasts dedicated to advancing STEM education and hands-on learning through robotics competitions, held by FIRST Robotics.
Consisting of students ages 13 through high school graduation, Byte Force aims to educate and inspire teens in robotics, coding, and engineerings, helping them build competitive robots while fostering teamwork. Our mission is to spread the impact of STEM by giving high school students hands-on experience in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Project Management.
As a rookie team and newly formed organization, our current initiatives are rooted in supporting the team through build sessions before the competition season, attending various STEM related events, fundraising outreach, and participating in community-based volunteer opportunities. As our team grows, we are constantly looking for new ways to give back to our local community and help proliferate the realm of STEM by creating a more accessible and inclusive environment.
